Corporation “Biscuit-Chocolate” in the first half of 2016 produced 29.2 thousand. Tons of confectionery products, while maintaining production volumes of the same period last year, despite the very challenging market conditions. The same volume of production was sold on the domestic and foreign markets, which amounted to 860 million USD in cash.
In general, in the first half of the corporation sent to export 34% of output, increasing the amount of deliveries more than 300 tons. Shipment of confectionery products for export was carried out in 30 countries, including emerging markets, such as Iraq, Iran, Libya, France, Sweden. It should be noted that the most active in buying confectionery corporation showed the Middle East, increasing its volumes by 2.5 times compared to the first half of 2015.
The second was the Chinese market (+ 26%) in activity, which is currently undergoing a boom in consumption, including consumption of food and confectionery products. To date, our Chinese partners have received a wide range of confectionery products of the corporation “Biscuit – Chocolate” and increase the volume of deliveries to China.
Sales volume in the European Union for the first half 2016 increased relative to the corresponding period of 2015 by 13% due to the markets of Poland, Romania, Bulgaria, Latvia. In the same period, it was made first deliveries in France and Sweden.
Sales in Ukraine remained at the level of the first half of 2015
CIS market was the only one with a negative trend due to the prohibition of deliveries Ukrainian goods on the Russian territory, a complete ban on the transit through its territory to the countries of Central Asia and the Caucasus, almost doubling the cost of delivery of products to these markets, increasing delivery times due to the disabled ferries on the Black and Caspian seas, as well as the sharp devaluation of the local currencies of the CIS countries, provoked by the fall of the Russian ruble.
