Confectionery factory «Kharkovchanka»

Kharkovchanka Confectionery PJSC is the oldest confectionery enterprise of Ukraine founded in 1896 by Grigory Nikolayevich Borman, merchant of guild II. The factory specializes in the production of sugary confectionery: chocolate, sweets, caramel, toffee, marshmallow, fruit jelly and chocolate-waffle cakes.

The Kharkovchanka Confectionery is one of the few factories in Ukraine with a full processing cycle of cacao beans. High-quality cocoa beans supplied by the best producers of the Western Africa – from Ivory Coast and Ghana – are processed at the factory to obtain the basic confectionery raw materials: crude chocolate, cocoa butter and cocoa powder. Ingredients manufactured are used by both factories of the Corporation to produce semi-finished products – chocolate mass and coating chocolate.

This is a unique competitive advantage, as it allows guaranteeing full quality control at all the stages of manufacturing confectionery products containing cocoa products.

The rated value of Kharkovchanka Confectionery output is 50 thousand tons of products per year. There are 1,060 employees at the enterprise.

Facilities for the production of caramel candies, chocolate sweets and pastry are equipped with modern European equipment:

– a line to produce cast creams and Kapseldessert from the Netherlands,

– a line to produce pouring caramel sweets manufactured in the Netherlands and Germany,

– an integrated line to pour chocolate desserts with large additives manufactured by Danish and German machine-building enterprises,

– a line to produce nougat-based sweets and bars jointly manufactured by the leading manufacturers of equipment for confectionery industry from Germany, Spain and Italy,

– a Spanish line to make chocolate masses,

– a German line to produce fine-particle chocolate masses with fine grinding of chocolate crystals,

– a Swiss line to make light candy fillings with lowered caloric content,

Due to its successful and intensive development, the Kharkovchanka Confectionery remains highly ranked in the conditions of the oversaturated confectionery market. Constant attention to the quality of products, control of their production at all stages – from the purchase of raw materials to shipment – allows offering only qualitative and safe for health sweets to consumers.
