Corporation “Biscuit-Chocolate” in 2015 released the 60 th. Tons of confectionery, which is 107% compared to 2014. Almost the same amount of product (59.9 thous. Tons) was sold on the domestic and foreign markets. The volume of sales for the year amounted to about 1 billion 600 million UAH, growth of the past – 55%.
In general, the results of 2015 the company sent to export 36% of output, whereas a year earlier the figure was 41%. Reducing the share of export shipments in the corporation “Biscuit-Chocolate” was due to the general decrease in the volume of exports by 8%, or 1.8 thous. Tons. The main fall is due to the loss of the market and a reduction in deliveries to the CIS countries, primarily in Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Turkmenistan. Not the least role in the negative dynamics of the purchase of confectionery these countries played a devaluation of the local currency against the background of falling world oil prices and problems on the Russian market.
External shipments of products carried out in 30 countries, including emerging markets, such as Iraq, China, Libya, Poland and Turkey. Sales volume in the European Union countries for the second year showed growth: for example, if in 2014 the growth of exports to these countries amounted to 28%, then in 2015 – already 50%. The largest increase in exports of confectionery products was due to Romania, Latvia and Bulgaria.
Sales in Ukraine increased both in volume and in share, which was in 2015 64% of total shipments corporations, compared with 57% in 2014. The overall growth of Ukrainian sales amounted to 18% and was observed in all regions of the country except parts of Luhansk and Donetsk region, located in the zone of the ATO, and the Crimea.
